Anything is possible when you believe in yourself and get past those road blocks that have prevented you from achieving your desired goals. If you are going through a life transition, experienced a traumatic event, suffered from past abuse or significant loss, and looking for a change in your life then I would like to be part of your journey to self discovery.

Do you want a therapist who will listen, provide you with feedback, "therapy tools", and coping skills in a relaxing/calming environment. Then you are looking in the right place.

My focus is on your needs and assisting you on what you want to accomplish. Therapy can be short term or a long term process, depending on what works for you and the nature of why you are coming to therapy in the first place.

Life is a journey that takes us on different paths. Choose which path you want to take.

Some Words About Me

I am a LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker).  I have been practicing as a clinician for twenty years and have worked with clients of all ages ranging from school age, adolescents, and adults. Primarily at this time my practice involves working adults only. I have extensive experience in agency work and outreach, including clients schools and home. I focus mostly on the individual and examine all aspects of your emotional, behavioral, mind/body and spiritual well being.

My focus of treatment is a Cognitive Behavioral approach in therapy sessions. I also like to integrate other techniques such as EMDR known as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, and Gentle Reprocessing. These therapies are connected to bilateral stimulation and help people get "unstuck" with negative belief patterns and relieve distressing memories. It can also be described as guided imagery. These techniques can be used for any issue such as a trauma, anxiety, phobia, and even negative thoughts about self.

My practice utilizes Mindfulness techniques to practice meditation and calm negative and unwanted thoughts and Emotional Freedom Techniques, EFT, and tapping. EFT can be described as a mind- body treatment that desensitizes unwanted thoughts, emotions, and physical reactions. These combined or on its own assist in freeing up the mind for spontaneous insights and clearer thinking.
